Task and initial state
We pin down the starting point before agreeing on the scope of work.
Task
Remove the construction dust left after the finish work and prepare the rooms for furniture assembly.
Initial state
Fine dust had settled on the walls, windows and recessed lighting; grout residue and protective tape marks remained on the tile and frames.
What we did
The scope of work applies to this property and doesn't replace a preliminary estimate.
- Collected the dust with shop vacuums, working top to bottom
- Cleaned the frames, glass and windowsills
- Removed localized grout and tape residue
- Re-wiped hard surfaces after the dust settled
What was tricky
Dust kept settling after the first pass. So we split the cleaning into collecting the main dust and a repeat damp treatment after a pause.
Result
After the control pass the windows and tile were ready for handover, with no visible construction dust on the surfaces.
